Maclaren Stroller
WASHINGTON - US AUTHORITIES on Monday announced the recall of some one million baby strollers made by Britain's Maclaren, saying they posed a risk of 'fingertip amputation' to young children.
'Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed,' the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement.
The Chinese-manufactured strollers' hinge mechanism 'poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller,' CPSC said.
The firm has received 15 reports of children placing their finger in the stroller's hinge mechanism, and 12 reports of fingertip amputations in the United States.
The recall involves all Maclaren single and double umbrella strollers. They have word 'Maclaren' printed on the stroller and included models Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller.

Morning accompany ah qi to bring lil nephew to amk polyclinic for his jaundice level check, amkhub afterwhich to shop around for mummy birthday present and settle with a bag ( still deciding if to get 1 bigger design as baby diaper bag )..
Headed to polar to collect mummy birthday cake den cabbed home to have home cooked lunch by mummy..

Wake up quite early for routine check up, mummy helped mi look after precious and hubby haven book out yet so went alone..
Nothing much just normal check up plus listen to baby no2 heartbeat and next check up will have another detail scan to see baby no2..
